Patient Information


MediClinic Rouse Hill is a bulk billing practice to all Medicare eligible persons. You can enquire about Private, Medicare Reports, third party fees, Specialists, and Allied Health Fees at reception. Redressing will incur a $5 charge for a small dressing or a $10 charge for larger dressings or you can purchase the dressing materials from the chemist.

After Hours Patient Care/Home/and Nursing Home Visits

Care outside normal opening hrs is available through the National Home Doctor Service by calling 137425. They will also provide home and nursing home visits to our regular patients after hours. Any costs that may be incurred will be explained. In an emergency you are advised to ring 000.

Mon to Fri 8:00 am to 4 pm
Sat 8:00 am to 12 noon

Longer Consultations and Emergency Consultation Requests

Please let the receptionist know if you would like to book a longer appointment. Please also let the receptionist know if you are having chest pains, difficulty of breathing, or suspected of having a broken bone.

Telephoning your Doctor

Doctors in the practice may be contacted by phone during normal surgery hours. If the doctor is with a patient a message will be taken and your call will be returned as soon as possible. If your call is urgent, you will be put straight to the doctor.

Privacy Policy

All information is maintained in a confidential manner in accordance with legislation. If you want a copy of our privacy policy you may request it from reception.

No Smoking Policy

A” No Smoking Policy “ applies to all areas of the Centre.

Reminder System

Our practice is committed to preventative care. You will receive reminder notices regarding health care services appropriate to your care. This may be via phone or mail. Please advice the practice if you do not want to be included in the reminder system.

Emergency Contact

Please advise the surgery of your emergency contact in case you need to be contacted. Please always update this information.

Research & Training

The centre participates in research and medical training. Please notify the receptionist or doctor if you do not want to participate.


We always welcome comments and suggestions regarding the care you receive at this centre. Please feel free to talk to our doctors or our receptionist. You may prefer to write us or use our suggestion box.

Fees for Cancelled or Missed Appointments

A fee for cancelled or missed appointments may be incurred, please ask the receptionist.

Private Vaccines 

Please purchase private vaccines immediately prior to consultation and give the vaccines to the receptionist immediately upon arrival.

Presence of a Third Party During Consultation

A patient is entitled to either approve or reject the presence of a third party during the consultation.

Violence Free Workplace

Aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated.
